Weather 101: Fall Statistics

    September, October and November are in the books and the fall statistics are not surprising. The average high temperature for fall was 78 degrees, four degrees above average, making it the 4th warmest fall on record.

    Our last 90 degree day happened on Oct 10. It was the 117th 90 degree day of the year.

    The first freeze happened on Nov 6, about a week before the average.

    Precipitation was below normal except for November which was only the second month this year that saw above normal precipitation.
