LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - Police are investigating an early morning shooting Monday.
In the police report, the victim says the suspect pulled up to him at a local hotel and asked for gas money. The victim says he made a deal with the suspect saying if the suspect gave the victim a ride home, he would give him some money. They stopped at the Super Stop convenience store to buy cigarettes at 5:30 a.m. Monday.

As they left the convenience store, the suspect pulled off in the area of Brown Street and the suspect pulled a gun. The victim says he grabbed the barrel of the gun as he tried to leave the vehicle, and the suspect fired.
Police say the victim was wounded in both upper thighs. A bullet went through-and-through both of his legs. He was taken to UAMS for treatment.
The suspect is described as a man between 30-35 years-old was driving a 1996 four-door white Cadillac.
