FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ark. (KTHV) - A Franklin County church has been rebuilt just weeks after the roof came crashing down, injuring six men, one of whom is now paralyzed.
Youth Minister Cody Jones was among those putting up trusses at the Jethro Pentecostal Church in Ozark when it collapsed. He's in a wheel chair and undergoing therapy still. Jones said he feels lucky and glad more people did not get hurt.
"It was scary at the time, but considering all the people that were here, it's just a blessing that there weren't more that were injured or hurt," he said.
Pastor Lamar Joy said the congregation has come together to rebuild the church and remain positive, and Jones is confident that one day he will walk again.
