CONWAY, Ark. (KTHV) - Satterfield Fuels opened Conway's first Compressed Natural Gas fueling station and the state's first bi-fuel facility.
The facility opened Tuesday at 10 a.m. at 1305 E. Oak Street.
Compressed Natural Gas has become important to Central Arkansas with the Fayetteville Shale Play. This grand opening and ribbon cutting marks a two-year process to build a Natural Gas fueling station in Conway, Arkansas.
The site also contains a traditional fueling station, making this the first bi-fuel location in the state. This means that vehicles that utilize both gasoline and CNG will be able to fill up at this fueling station.
