LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- Investigators in Lonoke County continue their search for Rebecca Lauer who they believe was kidnapped by her boyfriend.
Lonoke resident Dennis Harrington, 41, was arrested Saturday and charged with the kidnapping and domestic battery of Lauer, whose family reported her missing on July 28.
Lonoke County Sheriff's Office Lieutenant Jim Kulesa told THV 11 that investigators are not releasing any information about Harrington confessing to the crimes, but said they do have evidence to support the charges.
"There are certain points to the investigation in interviews that are being conducted and that type of thing which we can't disclose at this time," said Kulesa. "Numerous people have been interviewed in regards to this and based on all that information that was obtained that's what led to his arrest."
Harrington is being held on $50,000 bond at the detention center in Lonoke while FBI crime scene experts search his home for clues to Lauer's disappearance.
"We're not sure exactly how long she had been there or how long she had been staying there but we do know at times, she was staying there," added Lt. Kulesa.
