Centerpoint Energy shuts down gas leak in West Little Rock

    LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - Centerpoint Energy had to shut down a gas leak Tuesday afternoon.

    A spokesperson for the company said the gas leak happened on Colonel Glenn Road between Shackleford Road and Marigold Drive a little before 2 p.m. The gas was turned off, and the road was later reopened around 6 p.m.

    The spokesperson said the damage was done by a third party contractor, but the extent of the damage is still unknown. There has been no loss of customer service and have been no evacuations.
