HOT SPRINGS, Ark. (KTHV) - A Garland County mother was released on bond Monday after injuring several people on Halloween night.
Twila Watson reportedly plowed through a neighborhood along Quail Ridge Drive in her car last Thursday night. Police say she hit several parked cars, ran over a woman's foot, and dragged a man 10 feet who tried to control the car to stop her.
Watson told police at the time of the incident that she is five months pregnant; she's charged with several counts of battery and endangering the welfare of a minor. DWI charges are pending the results of a secondary blood alcohol content test.
At the time of the incident, a test showed her blood alcohol level to be .20, more than twice the legal limit. A second BAC test was taken via a blood test at the hospital; those results have not been returned.
Watson's two children were in the car with her, but were not injured.
Scott Hinojosa with the Garland County Sheriff's Office said Watson is due in court on November 12, 2013.
