ALEXANDER, Ark. (KTHV) - An update on the repossessed Alexander fire truck for you tonight: a judge ordered the truck should be returned to the fire department.
The fight stemmed from ongoing litigation and a dispute over interest payments. Paul Graver of First Government leasing originated the loan on the fire truck.
He then sold it to another bank, then the bank later filed papers alleging Graver misled them. He bought the loan back and after heated conversations with the city over the interest rate, he repossessed the truck.
Now, the judge says the truck must be returned to the city of Alexander immediately.
