BRYANT, Ark. (BRYANT POLICE DEPARTMENT) - On December 19th, the Bryant Police Department is starting a new tradition in its city.

Officers will meet up with selected kids from all of the elementary schools in the Bryant School District at the local Wal-Mart and help them shop for Christmas Gifts for themselves and loved ones.

This is an ongoing event that is done in surrounding cities throughout the state, however this will be the first time the Bryant PD has been able to host their own and this comes with the help from a generous donation and local sponsor Everett GMC. The Everett family has stepped up and with their generosity, was able to help many children from the Bryant area have a very Merry Christmas.

The event will take place on Thursday around 11 a.m. at the Bryant Everett Buick/GMC dealership, where Mrs. Susie Everett and the Everett family will be on hand to present us with a $3500 check towards the Santa's with Badges program.
