    Entertainment News:

Cracker Barrel Old Country Store has removed select products from its stores tied to the stars of the cable hit "Duck Dynasty."

While the Lebanon, Tenn.-based restaurant company will continue to offer some products from Duck Commander, the business run by the Robertson family of the A&E show, they decided to remove certain products "which we were concerned might offend some of our guests."

STORY: 'Duck Dynasty' star on hiatus for anti-gay comments

The family's patriarch Phil Robertson was suspended from the A&E program earlier this week after he was quoted in a GQ article calling homosexuality sinful behavior comparable to bestiality. The same article also quoted him as saying he never saw mistreatment of blacks during his pre-Civil Rights movement childhood.

Robertson's suspension has already been blasted by many of the show's fans and supporters, who said the family should not be penalized for their religious beliefs.

Cracker Barrel said in a Facebook statement that they will continue to evaluate the situation surrounding the Robertsons as part of their regular evaluation of all products they sell.

"We operate within the ideals of fairness, mutual respect and equal treatment of all people," the statement read. "These ideals are the core of our corporate culture."
