Central Arkansas celebrates Asian New Year

    LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- The Asian New Year celebration is underway in central Arkansas.

    Wilma Houston of the Asian Pacific Resource and Cultural Center stopped by "THV 11 This Morning" to share more about the holiday and a recipe.

    The celebration is Friday Jan. 24 at Far East Asian Cuisine and Bar at 11610 Pleasant Ridge Rd. Suite 100 in Little Rock.

    Check in and seating starts at 5:30 p.m. and dinner starts promptly at 6 p.m.

    Dinner will be a nine course mean prepared by the head chef and a there will be a free gift to all attendees and door prizes as well as a live auction.
