LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - The Health Department reported another flu death in Arkansas on Thursday, raising the number to 25.
The CDC releases a weekly influenza report showing where the infection is most prevalent in the country.
The number of states marked as "widespread" continues to grow. Arkansas has been on the widespread list since the beginning.
The CDC said the number of estimated flu deaths prevented by the vaccine last year was 79,000.
