John Arnoult is charged with capital murder for the deaths of Constance Cole and John Poff.
HARRISBURG, Ark. (AP) - A Craighead County man charged with two counts of capital murder is scheduled to go on trial in September.
The case for 29-year-old John Anthony Arnoult was continued last Friday at the request of Arnoult's defense attorneys. Arnoult is charged in the 2012 slayings of John Poff and Constance "Connie" Cole.
Poff and Cole were found shot to death inside a mobile home in Trumann. Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty in the case.
The Jonesboro Sun reports that Arnoult is set to go on trial Sept. 15-19, with a pretrial hearing scheduled for Sept. 8 in Harrisburg.
