    North Little Rock News:

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - The Laman Library's main branch is honoring political cartoonist and Arkansas native George Fisher with an exhibit of his artwork.

The exhibit officially opened this weekend displaying all original artwork as part of the President's exhibit. Fisher's drawings, seen as a series of visual metaphors and themes, are widely associated with politicians he caricatured.

"I like how he's really able to capture an emotion and tell a whole story with just the shapes of people using little archetypes really," said Dan Huff, a clerk at the Laman Library,

Fisher focused on former presidents Nixon, Carter, Ford, Reagan, Bush and Clinton in his drawings.

This exhibit will be on display until Sun., Jan. 19.
