    NLR new No. 1 team in Arkansas AP football poll

    LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - North Little Rock took over the top spot in The Associated Press Arkansas prep football poll after beating Pine Bluff while Bentonville lost to Euless Trinity of Texas.

    Bentonville fell from first to third in the rankings. Fayetteville is second this week, climbing after beating Muskogee, Okla. Greenwood is fourth and Springdale Har-Ber is fifth.

    Cabot climbed to sixth after beating Conway, which fell from seventh to 10th. Camden Fairview is seventh, Fort Smith Southside is eighth and Pulaski Academy is ninth.

    In lower classifications, Greenwood leads the Class 6A poll and Camden Fairview is atop Class 5A. Dollarway, Charleston and Junction City lead among the state's smaller schools.

    This Friday, No. 6 Cabot is at No. 1 North Little Rock and No. 5 Har-Ber is at No. 3 Bentonville.
