LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - Fall doesn't just mean back to school; it also means deer season. They can be pretty to watch, and some of you like to hunt, but for some people, they're a nuisance.

I know a lot of you probably think I am a city boy, but I have some country roots in me. I like to feed my deer on a beautiful day.

If you want to attract them, take some 4-inch PVC pipe and strap it to a tree. Pour corn on the top, and it comes right through the bottom. As the deer continue to eat the corn, it keeps falling through, making a feeding through for these beautiful creatures. This whole project is cheap. You can buy a bag of corn for around $8. You can get it at big discount stores and feed stores.

In the summer, time they are not going to eat as much because vegetation is abundant, but in the fall and winter, you are sure to have a whole herd of them.

Now your neighbors may hate you for this because some people might not want deer on their property.

If you don't want deer, there are a few things you can do. Number one is to get a big dog--the bigger the dog, the better. If you have two of them, that's even better because deer will smell the scent if you let them roam around in your yard.

If you have a veggie garden or a smaller piece of property and want to really keep it safe, you can do an electrical fence. It's a simple weekend project; you just put it around the area you want to protect and plug it in when you want it active, and unplug it when you don't, so you don't have to worry about children and that type of thing.

Lots of deer products are on the market. Here's a great one: Deer Off. All you have to do is spray it occasionally now and then, and remember it may wash off during rain. That's it.
