It's chilly outside which means it's the perfect time for soup. Anthony Michael from Cross-Eyed Pig is whipping up his recipe for potato soup.
3-4 lbs potatoes, peeled and diced
4 cups water
1 stick butter
2 cloves garlic or 1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/2 onion, chopped fine or 1/2 tsp onion powder
Put all above ingredients in crockpot or slow cooker and cook until potatoes are falling apart. Then add 2 tsp salt, 1 tsp pepper, 1 tsp Cavenders, 1 cup heavy whipping cream and 1 cup milk. Stir thoroughly and let simmer for 10-15 minutes.
