JACKSONVILLE, Ark. (KTHV) -- The THV Diaper Drive benefiting the Arkansas Rice Depot ended last month but the diapers continue to pour in!
The Children's Ministry along with the members at First Baptist Church in Jacksonville collected more than 5,000 diapers for our finale in Conway. But they kept collecting and the Arkansas Rice Depot picked up more than 7,000 diapers total!
Linda Clark says they were happy to jump onboard and help.
She says, "The members here support the children's ministry tremendously. All we had to do was mention a need and the diapers started coming in by the bundles, boxes and by the bags of them."
Liz would also like to thank her friend Amy Gray who attends First Baptist Church for helping spread the message for her. Gray says they plan on participating in the Diaper Drive again and they're goal next year is 10,000 diapers!
We'll have a new final Diaper Drive count Wednesday!
