LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - In the spirit of Halloween, Movies in the Park will host a special "Fright Night" and screen two spook-tacular movies for a howling good time on Halloween night.
Wednesday Oct. 31 at the Riverfront Amphitheater, you can see Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds starting at sunset. The 1963 movie is a suspense/horror film bases on the 1952 story "The Birds" by Daphne du Maurier. The movie is about a California town that is terrorized by a series of widespread and violent bird attacks.
After a 30 minute intermission from 8:30 to 9 p.m., stay tuned for the 2002 movie The Ring. This movie is about a young journalist investigating a mysterious videotape that seems to kill anyone who watches it after a week of seeing it.
Movies in the Park welcomes families, picnics, and pets to the park to enjoy the movies. The amphitheater will be open an hour before film showings and movies will start at sundown. Alcohol is allowed but no glass.
