Police looking for man in Hot Springs double shooting

  • HOT SPRINGS, Ark. (KTHV) - Hot Springs police are looking for a man wanted in connection with a double shooting.

    Public Information Officer McCrary Means told THV 11 News that Christopher Bernard Kelley, 21, is wanted for Second-Degree Criminal Attempted Murder in connection with a Nov. 14 shooting that left two wounded and with another incident where a home with children inside was shot at.

    Kelly is described as a black male standing at 5 feet 7 inches tall, and weighing 160 pounds.

    The responding officers said the first mentioned shooting happened at the intersection of Linwood Ave. and Hobson St. around 6:20 p.m.

    One 18-year-old male was found at the scene with multiple gunshot wounds, and another victim with a single wound had been taken to a nearby hospital by a private vehicle. Both victims are expected to live.

    Police have not released the names of the victims.

    THV 11 News also reported in October that Kelley had been arrested along with three others in eastern Arizona after authorities seized $100,000 worth of liquid PCP during a traffic stop.
