LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - Too often we report the negative news, but great things are happening in your community each day.

Here's a look at a few stories that are on The Brighter Side...

The Argenta Arts District has found a unique way to bring more art into the city through nine utility boxes.

Artists tackled the plain boxes and turned them in to magnificent works of art. They believe they're contributing to the spirit of the city.
"It really brightens up the area," explains artist Perrion Hurd. "It lets people know that public art is out and available. I think it lets people know the Argenta and North Little Rock area is a place to come to."

Sherwin Williams and Altura Graphics provided the supplies for the utility box art project.

And in other good news, visitors to the Museum of Discovery can get in touch with their natural side at the new 'Tribal Trails' exhibit.

The Pahsetopah family will introduce the Native American culture with interactive and cultural programs.

Audience members will be exposed to a different culture, learning the customs and history of Native Americans, particularly the Osage, one of the four major tribes in Arkansas prior to their relocation to Oklahoma.

The event runs through Saturday, November 17 and shows are at 11:30 a.m., 1 p.m., 3 p.m. at the Museum of Discovery in downtown Little Rock. For ticket information, click here.
