LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - It's not December yet, but that doesn't keep Christmas off shoppers' minds. With the holiday spirit being spread around Arkansas Immanual Baptist Church in Little Rock has stepped in with a goal in making sure that children overseas don't get left out.

It's called Operation Christmas Child and it's a national effort that sends shoe boxes stuffed with gifts. Over the past year the churches has collected donations and say it cost about $20 to fill one box. Last year they collected 25,000, this year their goal is 26,000.

If you would like to donate or find out more information on Operation Child you may visit the website HERE.
