LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- Tom Brannon shares a chocolate cake recipe.
2 cups milk
1 cup sugar
2 heaping tablespoons cornstarch
2-3 heaping tablespoons of Hershey's cocoa (to taste)
2 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 9" piecrust cook until golden brown
Seperate the eggs, whites in a bowl and the yellows in a cup. Combine the first four ingredients in a sauce pan on medium heat. Stir the mixer until it comes to a boil. Take the yellows and some mixer in the cup to combine them. Keep stirring until you have mixed the ingredients. Place the butter and vanilla into the sauce pan and keep stirring.
Pour the mixer into your pie crust. Take your egg whites and beat them to put on the top of your pie. As you are beating the egg whites take tablespoon of sugar and whipe the sugar in the egg whites. Place the whites on the top of the pie and brown.
