LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Longtime UAMS spokesman Leslie Taylor is being promoted to vice chancellor for the communications and marketing office.
Chancellor Dan Rahn announced Monday that Taylor would replace Pat Torvestad, who is retiring.
Taylor will advance from her position of associate vice chancellor of communications and marketing, which she has held since 2002.
Taylor also served as director of public relations in hospital marketing for UAMS from 1992-1997.
Previously, Taylor worked in communication for Central Arkansas Radiation Therapy Institute and is a former news reporter for the Arkansas Gazette.
