Ridings makes it two, qualifies for Tour
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (Univ. of Ark.) - Former University of Arkansas men's golfer Tag Ridings became the second former Razorback to earn his PGA Tour card when he finished in a tie for 20th at the tour's Q -school.
A veteran of the PGA and Web.com tours, Ridings has been playing professionally since he graduated from the University in 1997. He has made 182 starts on the PGA tour over the years with his best finish coming during the 2004 season when he tied for second at the Michelin Championship in Las Vegas. During the 2005 season Ridings placed 91st on the PGA money list.
The 38-year-old Ridings played in one PGA Tour event during the 2012 season, missing the cut at the Shell Houston Open.
Ridings joins David Lingmerth as 2013 additions to the PGA Tour. Lingmerth earned his card by finishing among the top 25 money winners on the Web.com tour in 2012.
