LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - More than 600 Arkansas school board members and administrators are gathering in Little Rock for their annual convention.
The sessions that start Wednesday at the Statehouse Convention Center come at a time of uncertainty over a state Supreme Court ruling on school funding.
Last week, the high court ruled that school districts that collect more in property tax revenues than state-mandated school funding levels can keep the money. The ruling blocks redistribution of the funds by the Education Department.
The Arkansas School Boards Association conference runs through Friday.
