NLRHS hosting Christmas hitting camp

    NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- North Little Rock High School is hosting a hitting camp over Christmas break.

    The annual North Little Rock High School Christmas Hitting Camp will be held in the old gymnasium at North Little Rock high school. The camp is open December 27 - December 29 for children in the first through eighth grades.

    Fundamentals in hitting, swing analysis as well as hitting skills and drills will be taught in each session of the camp.

    The 3 session camp costs $50 per child. The cost covers registration fees and a camp t-shirt.

    Instructors include current Charging Wildcat coaches as well as former Charging Wildcat players.

    Some rules for camp:
    • DO NOT wear cleats to the hitting sessions; the entire session will be indoors.
    • Campers will need to provide a bat, tennis shoes, and baseball attire during each session.
    • In case of inclement weather, log on to nlrbaseball.com for camp status. An alternate
    camp date will be provided.
    • Campers should arrive no later than 15 minutes before their session on each day of the
