LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- The New Year is a time to reflect on the changes we want or need to make and many Americans seem to make the same New Year resolutions each year. How do you keep them and which ones should you start with?

We've got two UAMS doctors with six resolutions. Dr. Lorraine Frazier and Dr. Jean McSweeney share six resolutions.

    Dr. Frazier suggests:
    - Stop smoking or don't start
    - Move more (increase physical activity)
    - Get connected (to your community)

And Dr. McSweeney with UAMS College of Nursing suggests three tips for health resolutions:
    - Control chronic health diseases (such as high blood pressure)
    - Eat more fresh fruits, vegetables, and nuts
    - Choose to move
