LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- A film made in Arkansas has released the movie trailer.

The movie Mud was filmed in and around Stuttgart between September and November in 2011.

The movie is written and directed by Little Rock native Jeff Nichols. He also made the movie Take Shelter.

Though it is hard for the boys to discern truth from fiction when it comes to Mud, it isn't long until their small Arkansas town is besieged by a beautiful girl with a line of hunters in tow.

The film will premiere at the Sundance Film Festival. It will hit theaters April 17.
