LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - Two Dollar General employees were held at gunpoint while the store they work at was robbed Wednesday night. The business is located at 9500 Satterfield Drive in the city.

According to a Little Rock Police Dept. incident report, two men had closed the business, set the alarm, and were walking to their cars when a man approached them with a handgun. The victims said the suspect pointed the gun at them and said, "Don't be a hero," before escorting them back to the store.

The suspect reportedly had them turn off the alarm and get face-down on the floor while one of them opened the safe. Once opened, the suspect took an undisclosed amount of money from the safe, and told the victims to count to 100 while he left the area.

The victims called police about 9:30 p.m. to report the incident. Officers are investigating the case; anyone with information on it is asked to contact Little Rock police at (501) 371-4621.
