LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- The First Tee of Arkansas has a lot of great things coming up in the near future.
First, classes have begun and they promise to be bigger and better than ever! Secondly, On April 11, they will be hosting their 5th Annual "A Day at the Masters" par 3 tournament and fundraiser! Entry is $250/two-person team. This year it's also the first ever "Azalea Dinner," on March 8!
This catered steak dinner with all the fixings is being provided by the Coleman family, and they hope to attract golfers and non-golfers alike. Tickets are $30 each and ticket holders can claim a $10 discount on entry in "A Day at the Masters."
They are also gearing up for the 2013 Golf Marathon! This unique event, will be held on May 25, will entail 36 people playing as many holes of golf as possible from sun-up til sun-down. The marathoners will spend the next three-plus months collecting "per hole" pledges from the community in support of this fundraising event.
