LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - The U.S. Geological Survey reports that two small earthquakes have been recorded in north-central Arkansas.

No injuries or damage are reported.

The U.S.G.S. says the first quake was magnitude 1.9 and recorded about six miles south of Greers Ferry at 5 p.m. Friday. The second was a magnitude 2.1 recorded at 12:33 a.m. Saturday about six miles southeast of Clinton.

Both areas are about 55 miles north of Little Rock.

Geologists say earthquakes of magnitude 2.5 to 3.0 are generally the smallest that are felt by humans.
