BRYANT, Ark. (KTHV) -- Police are searching for a man they believed robbed a Sally's Beauty Supply Monday morning around 9:25.

An employee told officers that, soon after opening the store at 9 am, a black male entered the store. She asked if she could help him with anything, at which time he rushed around the counter and placed what she believed to be a small handgun to the back of her neck and forced her to the ground.

She said the suspect then demanded her to open the cash register and give him all the money. After taking the money, he forced her to the back of the store where he told her to start counting. After a couple of minutes, she said she made her way back to the front where she called 911.

She described the suspect as a light-skinned male, tall and muscular, in his late twenties to early thirties, wearing dark colored pants and shoes with an unzipped gray hoodie over his head.

If anyone has any information regarding this incident, they are asked to contact the Bryant Police Department Criminal Investigation Division (501)943-0943.
