UNDATED (CBS) -- British actress and model Emma Watson was unveiled as the latest wax figure at the world famous waxwork museum Madame Tussauds in London on Tuesday.
Nicole Fenner, PR Manager at Madame Tussauds London, said that Watson will be a popular addition to the museum's A-List gallery and "brings a touch of British class to our line-up".
"She's just someone that people want to see and want to follow, so we're delighted that we can bring her to Madame Tussauds," Fenner added.
Sculptor Alex Carlisle, who spent a total of four months working on the waxwork of Watson, said that it was a challenge to capture the expressions that make the English beauty unique.
"I think her eyes are lovely and she's got a real knowing look. She's not quite as attractive as my wife, but I think she's gorgeous", he added.
Reclining on a sofa against a glittering background, Watson's figure is dressed in a backless, dark blue cocktail dress made exclusively for the exhibition by designer Elie Saab. The dress, with its beaded bodice and full skirt, is a replica of the Elie Saab haute couture design worn by Watson at a red carpet event in Hong Kong in 2011 and is accessorized in the exhibition with sparkling jewelry and patent navy heels.
Fenner explained that the waxwork was created purely from research, as Watson's schedule prevented her from attending a sitting. Carlisle and the team of sculptors studied pictures and films in order to recreate Watson's likeness, which visitors will be able to see up-close-and-personal as they pose next to her on the sofa.
Watson, 22, shot to fame playing Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter film series, and has since appeared in films including 'My Week with Marilyn and 'The Perks of Being a Wallflower'. She has also enjoyed a successful modeling career, appearing in campaigns for Burberry and Lancôme.
