CLARKSVILLE, Ark. (KFSM) - A Drug Task Force officer has died while chasing a man suspected of violating parole.
Clarksville police told KFSM that 65-year-old Larry Johnson, director of Fifth Judicial District Drug Task Force, collapsed while chasing a parolee. Officers said the man had run off during a home visit.
Police have taken the suspect into custody but said besides fleeing, they do not believe he did anything to cause Johnson's death.
