ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (HSU) -- Kendall Earp placed third to lead Henderson State to a fifth-place finish at the Candlewood Suites Golf Classic in St. Joseph, Mo.
Earp turned in rounds of 79 and 82 for a 161 total on the par 72, 5,855 yard St. Joseph Country Club Course.
Katie Kilponen finished in 21st place with rounds of 88 and 84 for a 172 total, while Katie Flinn tied for 27th place having scores of 91 and 87.
Taylor Brown shot a two-round total of 189 to finish in 50th-place out of 58 participants.
Minnesota State-Mankato won the ten team event posting a team score of 667, with Augustana College placing second (669) and Arkansas Tech in third (673).
Sioux Falls edged out Henderson State for fourth place with a 698 total, while the Lady Reddies had rounds of 356 and 344 for a 700 total.
Missouri Western posted a two-day total of 702 to place sixth, followed by Concordia-St. Paul (703), Southwest Minnesota State (707), Upper Iowa (712) and Truman State (724).
