From U.S. Army Pine Bluff Arsenal:

PINE BLUFF, Ark. - Pine Bluff Arsenal was recognized in March with two awards by the Combined Federal Campaign of Greater Arkansas/Heart of Arkansas United Way.

The first award was fourth place for the largest campaign during the 2012 CFC. The Arsenal gave approximately $67,983 during the campaign.

The second award was a CFC Bronze Award. Laura Hiserodt, the Arsenal's CFC coordinator said this award was presented to the Arsenal based on the level of giving by the employees on post. "The average amount given by employees was between $60 and $89," she said.

The CFC is one of only two fund drives allowed on U.S. Army installations during work hours. It affords all employees an opportunity to contribute to one or more charitable, humanitarian or medical research organizations at a local or national level.
