Bids open for Pulaski County improvements

    LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- The Arkansas State Highway Commission has opened bids for improvements to a roadway in Pulaski County.

    The purpose of this project is to resurface 3.7 miles of T.P. White Drive in Jacksonville. The work will extend from just north of the Highway 67 on ramp in Jacksonville to the Lonoke County line.

    Cranford Construction, Inc. of North Little Rock, AR, was awarded the contract at $720,854,91.

    Construction is scheduled to begin in two to four weeks, weather permitting. The project should be complete by early fall.
