LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- "It gets where you can't even go outside sometimes because they'll bite you so much. It gets pretty bad," proclaimed Little Rock resident Tiffany Files.
The mosquitoes so bad that this mother and daughter have to limit their time gardening, which is something they love to do. But, even when they go inside their home, the conditions are not much better.
"There are quite a few in the house at night. We're kind of mosquito magnets because they really like us," she added.
The pests aren't just after them. Central Termite and Pest said they began getting calls from Little Rock residents about a month ago, requesting their yards to be sprayed.
So, why does it seem that these pesky insects are out just a little bit early this year?
"It's the temperature. We just never get that cold, so when we have warm days, this is when the mosquitoes start to lay their eggs and become more active," Majel Evans of Central Termite and Pest stated.
Central Termite and Pest said the best way homeowners can cut down on the number of mosquitoes they see is to simply eliminate the sources for the mosquitoes to lay their eggs.
