LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - Here's a look at what's trending on the web for Friday.

George Jones, country superstar, has died at 81

Iconic country music singer George Jones, known for his heartbreaking classics, has died at the age of 81.

Jones sang some of the greatest songs in country music, and his voice is legendary.

His signature song "He stopped loving her today" is one of the most popular country music songs of all time. Jones influenced generations of country music stars and is considered by many in the industry to be one of the greatest.

But, his personal problems, including multiple divorces and substance abuse, were nearly as legendary as his songs.

Jones was scheduled to complete his farewell tour in November with an all-star tribute in Nashville. He began singing 50 years ago.

Rick Pitino adds tattoo to 2013 title

Earlier this year, Rick Pitino, head coach of the Louisville Cardinals men's basketball team, made a promise. He told his team if they won the national championship, he would get a tattoo.

Well, Pitino is now inked up. The coach followed through on his promise after the Cardinals won the NCAA championship and got the school's old-English 'L' emblem in red surrounded by the words: '2013 NCAA champions, 35-5.'

The coach probably won't show the new ink off next week at the Kentucky Derby where his horse, Goldencents, is considered to be a strong Derby contender.

Jimmy McMillan "Rent Is Too Damn High" Anthem

In 2010, Jimmy McMillan made headlines all over social media when his response to why he was running for mayor went viral. Simply put, McMillan said the rent around New York is too dang high.

This week, he's back at it again for mayor, and this time, he is using his popular slogan to help gain more attention.

If views on YouTube are an indication of votes, McMillan would be the current front-runner. He has more than 300,000 in a day.

This will be his seventh campaign. He's run in the New York mayor's race twice before, and the outcome was the same as his bid for the presidency.

Uhhh...Fair warning. The words in this video may be a little too salty for some.

Monstrous whirlpool in parish Dviete, Latvia swallows everything in its path

Footage of a whirlpool in Latvia has mesmerized viewers watching the swirling vortex suck up earth, debris and boulders. It devours huge blocks of ice and brings them down into the vortex.

This video has been viewed more than 3 million times worldwide this week.

The man who shot the video said it is as if a plug had been pulled from underground.

The mysterious whirpool was formed by water from the swollen river flowing into an inlet on the upstream side of a bridge. All of the debris is funneled under the road on which spectators are standing and flows downstream.
