LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- Over the past decade, autism treatments have greatly increased.

There are many causes for autism, so one treatment won't fix every child.

Dr. Richard Frye works at Arkansas Children's Hospital, where he's researching the latest traditional and alternative therapies.

Shelly Armstrong's son Luke was diagnosed with autism at two-and-a-half years old. She says in using these alternative therapies, coupled with some traditional treatments, she's seen a major difference in her son.

Tonight on "THV 11 News" at 6 p.m., THV's Stefanie Bryant takes a look at the different alternative therapies available for parents.
