LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- In today's CBlock, we're tackling a controversial topic out of New York.
The Big Apple has become the place known for implementing calories on menus, no smoking in restaurants and the latest move of banning smoking until the age of 21.
Currently in Needham, Massachussetts they have a law making the legal age to buy tobacco 21. Now New York is considering the same thing.
Their reasoning is since most habitual smokers begin before their 18, it's their hope that this will bring down the number of smokers.
While opponents say if you can vote, enter the draft at 18, you should be able to smoke.
Stefanie and Tom asked for your opinions and shared them on "THV 11 News at Noon".
