LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (May 4, 2013) - The 15th annual Cinco de Mayo celebration
will be held today, May 4 at the Clinton Presidential Center. The free event runs from noon to 5 p.m.
The festival will offer live entertainment, folkloric ballet, mariachis, rumba and salsa dance, face painting, inflatable bouncers, children's games, pinatas, youth soccer, golf and tennis clinics.
There will also be a very special Food Truck Festival with the best in gourmet food trucks, as well as the best international and authentic Mexican food from around the city served right in downtown Little Rock.
Live entertainment will include performances from Arkansas's own Grupo F5, Chico Style from Dallas, Texas and the Cuban sounds of Niris.

Cinco de Mayo is sponsored by the League of United Latin American Citizens
(LULAC) Council 750 Little Rock. LULAC uses proceeds generated by the
Cinco de Mayo to award scholarships to Latino students, perform
citizenship and voter registration drives, and conduct youth leadership
training programs. LULAC seeks to empower the Latino community at the
local, state and national level through its seven councils chartered in
All proceeds from this year's Cinco De Mayo festival will go to higher education scholarships including the Patricia Guardado Scholarship fund at UALR.
