FAULKNER COUNTY, Ark. (KTHV) - Faulkner County administrator Jeff Johnston has been fired for what the county calls "non-disciplinary reasons."
According to attorney David Hogue, Johnston will no longer be employed with the city when his ten day notice is up, but he is able to appeal the decision. For that reason, Hogue could not specify why Johnston was let go.
In August 2012, Johnston was being prosecuted by Cody Highland for using county funds to pave his driveway. There is a gag order on the case.
