FAYETTVILLE, Ark. (KTHV) -- Authorities released the 911 calls from this week's boat crash that killed two University of Arkansas students Tuesday on Grand Lake in northeast Oklahoma.
5NEWS reported that a ski boat, carrying eight people, struck an empty docked houseboat. The accident killed Rachel Swetnam of Oklahoma and Trey Varner of Texarkana. An autopsy report says they died of accidental blunt force trauma.
Authorities said one person jumped off the boat in the crash, and two other students who were hospitalized have been treated and released.
Prosecutors said they're working to figure out if charges will be filed against the driver of the boat or any others involved in the incident.
