    LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - Here's a list of fun things you can do with the family this weekend!

    4th Annual Arkansas Salutes the Troops Golf Tournament and Family Concert at Greystone Country Club in Cabot

    Adults will tee off in a golf tournament hosted by Arkansas Salutes the Troops, a nonprofit that benefits the Wounded Warrior Project, Airmen and Family Readiness Center and 806th Family Readiness Group. At 7 p.m., participants and their families can hang out at a free concert featuring the River Billy Band and Tragikly White. Kids can also have their faces painted and  bounce in jump houses.

    Free Dad's Day at The Wonder Place

    Dads get in free at The Wonder Place today when they take their kiddos to the playspace. Youngsters can splash in the water table, put on a theatrical production on the drama stage and more.
    Free for dads; $7 per child. 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

    Heifer Hour: International Children's Day at Heifer Village

    Each Tue. and Sat., children in grades K-5 can attend "Heifer Hour", featuring a craft, game, children's book or outdoor activity to help teach kids about caring for the Earth and its inhabitants. Today, they'll read the book, "I Like Me," and create a self portrait.

    Kids' Fishing Derby at Pinnacle Mountain State Park

    Kids participate in fishing clinics and casting contests. Plus, they'll nosh on free snacks and enter to win lots of prizes, including a prize given for the biggest fish caught. BYO bait and tackle. Contest is for kids 15 and under, although everyone is welcome to fish after 11 a.m. with a valid Arkansas fishing license.

    Little Rock Zoo 5K/1M Cheetah Chase

    This 5K to benefit the Little Rock Zoo takes runners through War Memorial Park and the Hillcrest Neighborhood and ends back at the zoo where race participants gain free admission. The 1K Family Fun Run takes place inside the zoo. Awards will be given for best animal costume and best "big cat" costume. (Please remember this is a family-friendly event and to dress appropriately.)
