UNDATED (CNN) -- Former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is famous for her no-nonsense fashion style.
Now back home in New York, the former U.S. senator pitched an idea to some top fashionistas Monday, including top executives at cable TV's Bravo.
The former first lady's idea is target a demographic she says is often ignored by the fashion industry with a Bravo series called "Project Pantsuit".
The potential White House hopeful in 2016 was at the Lincoln Center event to honor fashion legend Oscar de la Renta
His suits and gowns have long been a favorite of Mrs. Clinton's from her days as first lady to serving as the nation's top diplomat.
Since leaving the state department in February, Clinton has re-emerged to support some of longtime her pet projects and she's now also making the rounds on the paid speaking tour.
