    Oreo's Latest Limited-Edition Flavor: Watermelon

    The newest Oreos flavor is watermelon! Nabisco hopes that Oreo purists will like it because they just launched a limited edition fruit-flavored cookie this week. The watermelon Oreos are available only at Target for $3 a package, and they feature a bright pink and green crème filling between two vanilla cookies. Food bloggers seem to like them, but remember. these will only be on the shelves for a few months.

    Tweet Becomes An 'Official Word' In Latest Oxford English Dictionary Update

    The Oxford English Dictionary is adding a new definition to the word 'tweet." The dictionary will also now list the definition of tweet as "to post a message to Twitter." Until now, 'Tweet' had only been defined part of a bird's call. Other words added include "geekery," "crowdsourcing," and "e-reader." Also, "dad dancing," which means an "awkward, unfashionable, or unrestrained style of dancing to pop music, as characteristically performed by middle-aged or older men."

    Crazy Alaska Weather Swings from Ice to Fire

    Alaska has been baking over the last week as a high-pressure weather system has caused record-breaking temperatures. In some parts, temperatures in the mid and upper 70s broke records. In anchorage, the state's largest city, 81 was enough to break the old record. The town of Talkeetna was among the areas that got really hot. It was 96 on Monday, shattering a record high of 91 set back in 1969.
    The National Weather Service said things should cool off as the week goes on.
