CONWAY, Ark. (KTHV) - The Conway Police Department arrested two people in the Father's Day murder of Quenton Alexander.

Public Information Officer LaTresha Woodruff said Lee Foster, 27, of Morrilton, and Sierra Cook, 18, have both been arrested in the death of 23-year-old Alexander after he was shot to death outside of the Motel 6. The two were arrested in Morrilton.

Foster faces the following charges: Capital Murder, Battery in the 1st Degree, Possession of a Firearm by Certain Person, and Aggravated Assault. Cook is charged with Hindering Apprehension.

The two made their first appearance in district court Friday. Faulkner County District Court Judge Susan Weaver said bond was denied for Foster, while Cook received a $250,000 bond. If she posts bond, she will be required to wear an ankle bracelet as she is considered a flight risk. Their next court date is July 8.

The other victim shot in the incident has made a full recovery; police said the surviving victim was an innocent bystander.

Police Chief A.J. Gary held a press conference on the arrest Friday afternoon. He said there was some kind of dispute between Foster and Alexander that had been going on for sometime.

"My understanding is that it's a couple of different things, and we can't really say what lead specifically to the shooting, but it was just an ongoing dispute between the two," the chief said.

Chief Gary also added that he dedicated his entire investigation team to this case over the past week.

As for the victim's family, THV 11 spoke with an aunt, Priscilla McCoy. She said Foster is actually one of Alexander's cousins, and she had no idea why he allegedly killed Alexander. She also didn't know why Alexander was at the Motel 6 last Sunday.

"I don't know why anyone would hurt him. This is just like a dream, and I'm waiting to wake up. I haven't woke up yet," McCoy said.

McCoy said Alexander's funeral is set for Saturday morning at 11 a.m. at the Greater Union Hill Baptist Church in Morrilton. Alexander was the father of a 3-year-old boy and also helped raise his girlfriend's three boys.
