CONWAY, Ark. (KTHV) - Five restaurants in Conway failed alcohol compliance checks on Tuesday.

The Conway Police Department conducted ten of the checks, which involved an 18-year-old female who used an unaltered identification card. Servers at Ruby Tuesday, Outback Steakhouse, Cactus Jacks, Stromboli's, and Logan's asked for ID and did not serve the underage informant.

The businesses that failed the check include: El Hausteco, Gusano's, Back Achers Ranch, Patron, and Brick Oven. Servers at these establishments did not ask to see identification and served alcohol to the minor, according to Conway police.

Each of the servers were issued citations. Police said these checks are conducted randomly and will continue to be performed in an effort to curb underage drinking.
